THAILAND – French-based bulk handling specialist Morillon Systems has successfully commissioned a new state-of-the-art storage and unloading system at the CPF Group’s animal feed facility in Bangkok, Thailand, reinforcing its global footprint in the feed manufacturing industry.
The newly installed solution features a 10-meter diameter silo, standing 32 meters tall, dedicated to storing soybean meal—a critical ingredient in livestock and aquaculture nutrition.
At the core of the installation is Morillon’s Hydrascrew reclaimer, a robust and efficient system designed to reliably empty bulk materials even under the most challenging storage conditions.
The commissioning was carried out in partnership with local engineering firm Kasetphand Industry Co., Ltd. Morillon praised the collaboration, citing the technical team’s efficiency and commitment to excellence.
The installation at CPF—one of the world’s leading agro-industrial conglomerates—marks another milestone for Morillon in providing durable and high-performance unloading systems to major food producers.
CPF Group operates a vertically integrated agro-industrial and food business across 11 countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Türkiye, and India.
Its feed division, which supports livestock and aquaculture operations, generated over 131 billion Thai Baht (approximately US$4 billion) in sales in 2024, accounting for 23% of the company’s total revenue.
The Bangkok installation is part of Morillon’s broader mission to enhance feed production efficiency through advanced storage technologies.
With over 150 years of experience, Morillon has become a global leader in unloading solutions for bulk products stored in silos.
Its systems are used across sectors including agri-food, cement, wood, chemicals, and waste recycling, with specialized equipment tailored for both dry and wet materials.
Morillon supports poultry production in Côte d’Ivoire
In a related development, Morillon also completed the commissioning of a second silo at a De Heus animal feed facility in Côte d’Ivoire.
The new silo, measuring 11.82 meters in diameter and 20.85 meters in height, is dedicated to soybean meal for poultry nutrition and features the company’s Hydraugyre reclaimer.
With the existing 1,200-ton silo, the expansion boosts storage capacity and streamlines feed production to an impressive 20,000 tons per month.
These back-to-back projects underscore Morillon’s continued commitment to supporting the global feed and food sectors with reliable storage infrastructure and advanced unloading technology.
