This expo will be the perfect place for stakeholders to discover new technologies in the feed industry and form valuable partnerships.
KENYA – FW Africa, the leading organiser of high-level trade shows and conferences in Africa, is set to host the Africa Poultry & Animal Feed Expo, the continent’s premier international trade show and summit on sustainable poultry, aquaculture, and animal nutrition.
The event, scheduled for July 2-4, 2025, at the Sarit Expo Center in Nairobi, Kenya, promises to be a game-changer for the region’s poultry and animal feed industries.
For the first time, the livestock industry in the region will have its own stand-alone event: the Africa Poultry & Animal Feed Expo.
The Expo, which will be co-located with the renowned AFMASS Food Manufacturing Expo Eastern Africa, which is now in its 10th edition, underscores the growing importance of the livestock industry in the region.
The three day expo will focus on the poultry, aquaculture, and animal nutrition & health industry in general, ensuring these industries receive the focused attention they deserve.
Speaking on this strategic move, Mr. Francis Juma, the CEO of FW Africa, stated, “Africa Poultry & Animal Feed Expo is an important addition to our food and agriculture sector events. Over the last ten years, FW Africa has continuously impacted the sector through our industry-focused trade websites, magazines and events.”
He explained that the event is set to transform the livestock and animal feed industry in Africa through the creation of new opportunities for regional and international manufacturers and distributors of feed additives, equipment, packaging, and other supply chain solutions to meet and do business with livestock and animal nutrition and health industry stakeholders from Africa.
It will also provide the platform for manufacturers of animal nutrition and health products to find new customers and buyers from the region.
According to Mordor Intelligence, the African compound animal feed market is projected to grow from US$22.85 billion in 2025 to US$28.22 billion by 2030, reflecting a CAGR of 4.31% during the forecast period.
The sector’s expansion aligns with growth in associated industries, including feed ingredient suppliers, animal health solution providers, and processing technology manufacturers, informing the decision to organise this critical event.
“The exponential growth we are witnessing in Africa’s animal feed sector signals immense opportunities for innovation and investment,” Mr. Juma noted. “This expo will be the perfect place for stakeholders to tap into these opportunities, discover new technologies, and form valuable partnerships.”

Landmark summit to bolster learning at the expo

“Animal feed and its affiliated industries play a central role in these discussions,” noted Mr. Juma, emphasising the industry’s importance in ensuring a resilient food system.
Beyond learning and discovery, the event fosters networking & engagement, creating opportunities for farmers, traders, retailers, government officials, and technology suppliers to connect.
