CULT Food Science expands global reach with Noochies! cultivated meat pet treats

The Noochies! pet treats will make their debut at the Global Pet Show in Orlando, Florida, from March 26-28, 2025.

CANADA – CULT Food Science Corp. has announced that its subsidiary, Further Foods Inc., has signed a research and development (R&D) supply agreement with a cultivated meat producer.

This agreement will provide the necessary supply of cultivated meat to develop Noochies!, a line of lab-grown meat pet treats.

The highly anticipated Noochies! pet treats will make their debut at the Global Pet Show in Orlando, Florida, from March 26-28, 2025.

This premier event will allow CULT Food Science and Further Foods to introduce the sustainable pet treat line to distributors and consumers.

With increasing interest in alternative pet nutrition, the company aims to establish key partnerships and solidify its presence in this rapidly growing market.

Beyond its North American launch, CULT Food Science is also expanding into Asia, particularly Southeast Asia, where demand for sustainable pet nutrition is rising.

The company has already received initial orders from a regional distributor and is actively engaging with additional partners.

Additionally, Further Foods has secured initial orders for Noochies! products from distributors in Europe.

By entering new markets, CULT is reinforcing its mission to make cultivated meat pet treats available globally.

FDA approval in the works

As the company moves forward, regulatory approval remains a crucial step. An undisclosed cultivated meat supplier for Noochies! is currently working through the FDA approval process for use in pet food.

Once approved, Noochies! will be able to market its lab-grown pet treats in the United States without conducting separate feeding trials, significantly reducing costs and accelerating commercialisation.

As a result of discussions with the company’s suppliers, Noochies! has decided to pause its planned feeding trials and rely on its suppliers to secure FDA approval for cultivated meat in pet food products.

To support its expansion and product development, CULT Food Science has raised CAD$800,000 (US$557,971) to grow the Noochies! portfolio, reinforcing its position as a sustainable pet food industry leader.

Additionally, the company has completed a debt settlement agreement, issuing 573,984 shares to resolve outstanding debts of CAD$26,346 (US$18,375), ensuring that cash reserves remain intact for operational growth.

We are thrilled to be making tangible progress toward the commercial launch of Noochies! cultivated meat pet treats,” said Mitchell Scott, CEO of CULT Food Science.

One of the biggest challenges for us has been finding partners who can supply the required amounts of cultivated meat at a price that works for our business model. We are confident that we are putting the right partnerships in place to launch cultivated meat in pet treats soon.”
