Biostrong, one of the products, enhances poultry’s digestive health to optimise growth.
THAILAND – Cargill made a groundbreaking announcement at the recently concluded VIV Asia 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, unveiling a new portfolio of brands under its Micronutrition and Health Solutions (MHS) business.
Gilles Houdart, Gargill’s Global MHS Business Director, officially launched the new products, sharing with attendees the vision behind the products and their contributions to the animal nutrition industry.
These innovations, developed through Cargill’s scientific research and world-class nutritional expertise, optimise animal production, enhance efficiency, and promote long-term sustainability.
The newly launched MHS portfolio features Biostrong™ products, Notox™ solutions, and a range of digital innovations to support modern animal agriculture.
Biostrong™ products enhance the digestive health of poultry, optimising growth and improving the Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR).
By reducing feed consumption while increasing weight gain, Biostrong™ helps producers maximise efficiency and profitability.
On the other hand, Notox™ solutions offer advanced mycotoxin management, enhancing risk assessment accuracy and mitigating the harmful impact of mycotoxins.
They also improve livestock product quality and reduce production costs, ultimately benefiting both animal welfare and producer margins.
Gina Medina, Business Director for South & Southeast Asia at Cargill Micronutrition & Health Solutions, emphasised the company’s commitment to sustainable livestock production.
“Cargill is dedicated to developing integrated solutions that enhance animal well-being across all stages of life. Our goal is to ensure greater access to high-quality, safe, and nutritious meat for consumers worldwide while promoting responsible business practices,” she stated.
Hongfei Zheng, Senior Vice President of Cargill Animal Nutrition & Health Asia Pacific, reinforced this vision, highlighting that by advancing animal health and championing sustainability, the company remains committed to ensuring the world is fed safely, responsibly, and sustainably.
Digital innovations showcased at VIV Asia 2025
In response to growing challenges in animal agriculture, Cargill also introduced digital innovations that enable producers to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and make data-driven decisions.
These include Reveal™ Layers, a Near-Infrared (NIR) technology that non-invasively measures body fat in chickens, allowing real-time nutritional adjustments.
This cutting-edge tool has earned recognition as a finalist for the 2025 Edison Awards and the 2025 Innovation Award at IPPE. Galleon™, an AI-powered platform, analyses the gut microbiome of livestock, helping producers tailor feeding strategies for optimised animal health while ensuring compliance with global food safety standards.
Additionally, Agriness, a cloud-based platform, enhances animal husbandry management through real-time data collection, space optimisation, and precision farming technologies.
Cargill’s advancements seek to address critical industry challenges, such as rising feed costs, disease management, and sustainability concerns. By integrating these solutions, producers can enhance animal health, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
