New international feed-to-food trade show announced at VIV Asia 2025

INDIA – VNU Europe, the international division of Royal Jaarbeurs and organiser of VIV Worldwide, has announced the launch of VIV Select India—a premier Feed-to-Food trade show catering to India’s animal protein and livestock industry.

The event is set to take place in April 2026 at the Yashoboomi Convention Centre in New Delhi, India, and will be organised in partnership with the Poultry Federation of India.

The announcement was made at VIV Asia 2025, currently underway at the IMPACT Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand, from March 12 to 14.

This global trade event has drawn thousands of exhibitors from 46 countries, further solidifying its position as a leading platform for the animal protein industry.

VIV Select India is designed to be the leading international platform for the entire industry supply chain dedicated to animal nutrition, feed milling, and animal health. India, one of the world’s fastest-growing markets, presents immense potential for industry expansion.

The event is backed by key organisations, including CLFMA (Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association) and INFAH (Indian Federation of Animal Health Companies), ensuring strong industry engagement.

Why India?

India represents a dynamic and high-growth market for animal protein production. By leveraging Royal Jaarbeurs’ expertise in organising international trade shows, VIV’s global network and resources, and the Poultry Federation of India’s national reach, we are confident in establishing a valuable and long-term platform for the industry,” said Mr. Jeroen van Hooff, President & CEO of Royal Jaarbeurs and VNU Group, during the official launch on March 12 at VIV Asia 2025 in Bangkok.

India ranks among the top global producers of eggs, feed, and broilers, with a remarkable poultry industry CAGR of +8.1%.

Mr. Jeroen provided that over the past four decades, Indian poultry production has transitioned from traditional farming to high-tech, commercial production systems.

He added that extensive market research and direct industry engagement have identified a significant demand for a dedicated VIV platform for the livestock industry in Northern India, a region poised for further expansion and technological advancement.

Government & policy engagement

Hosting VIV Select India in New Delhi, the political and administrative hub of India, offers a strategic advantage by fostering connections between industry leaders and policymakers. The event will serve as a knowledge-sharing and dialogue-driven platform, helping bridge the gap between market players and government bodies.

This engagement is expected to contribute significantly to the long-term growth of India’s livestock sector by addressing challenges, promoting innovation, and identifying new opportunities.

The launch of VIV Select India was driven by strong industry demand and strategic collaborations. In-depth discussions with the Poultry Federation of India revealed a shared vision for a world-class, international trade show that aligns global expertise with local market needs.

Mr. Ranpal Dhanda, President of the Poultry Federation of India (PFI), expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration saying,

We are excited to partner with VNU Exhibitions Europe to bring VIV Select India to life. With this partnership, we are confident in delivering a high-quality exhibition in the heart of India’s capital, creating an essential platform for the poultry and livestock industry.

Meanwhile, VIV Worldwide is gearing up to host another key event, VIV Select Türki̇ye 2025.

This landmark event will be held from 24 to 26 April 2025 at the Istanbul Expo Center Hall 2-4-8, attracting industry players from the Middle Eastern region and beyond.

The event has attracted key supporters and intends to feature exhibitors from the entire feed-food value chain.
