FRANCE – Olmix, a French provider of bio-sourced solutions for livestock and crops, has launched Myco’Kingdom.net, an advanced digital platform designed to revolutionise the understanding and managing mycotoxin risk in animal feed.
With mycotoxins presenting a persistent challenge in crops like corn and wheat, the platform provides tailored tools and services to minimise the health and economic impacts of contamination in the livestock industry.
Myco’Kingdom combines seven distinct functionalities to support nutritionists, veterinarians, breeders, and feed formulators in addressing mycotoxin risks.
Among these is Myco’Essential, now available digitally, which serves as a comprehensive guide to understanding the effects and toxicity levels of the most common mycotoxins.
Another highlight is the Myco’Simulator, a tool that offers in-depth insights into the physicochemical properties of six major mycotoxins, helping users grasp the factors driving their toxicity.
Correct sampling, often a critical component in accurate analysis, is another focus area for the platform.
The Myco’Kingdom website includes a detailed sampling procedure designed to reduce errors, which account for up to 80% of inaccuracies in laboratory studies.
The Myco’Screen service provides options for rapid analysis and full screenings for up to 44 mycotoxins per sample using advanced chromatography methods.
This feature is bolstered by customised reporting tools, empowering users to make confident decisions on risk management.
Olmix has integrated well-established tools like Myco’Evaluator for diagnostics and Myco’Calculator for optimising solution use into Myco’Kingdom.
These features, coupled with Olmix’s existing mycotoxin solutions—MT.X+, a powdered additive for feed mills, and MMi.S, a micro-granulated option for direct farm application—ensure comprehensive support for users dealing with contamination risks.
