DSM-Firmenich, CPF Philippines join forces to enhance sustainability in animal farming

PHILLIPINES – DSM-Firmenich, a leader in animal nutrition and health solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) Philippines Corp. to advance sustainability in animal farming. 

The partnership aims to leverage DSM-Firmenich’s cutting-edge life cycle assessment (LCA) platform, Sustell, to measure and improve the environmental impact of animal protein production.

The two companies formalized their collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on August 3, 2024. 

This move marks a significant milestone in CPF Philippines’ ongoing efforts to promote sustainable food production. 

Sustell, DSM-Firmenich’s flagship LCA platform, offers a precise and scalable method to assess the environmental footprint of animal protein from farm to fork, empowering companies to make informed decisions and improve their sustainability performance.
