USA – Huvepharma, a global pharmaceutical company that develops human and animal health products, has announced a strategic sales and marketing agreement with ADM to expand Huvepharma’s ruminant nutrition portfolio.
This partnership will immediately integrate three of ADM’s science-based feed additives into Huvepharma’s growing lineup of livestock solutions.
Simon Walley, President of ADM Animal Nutrition North America, emphasized the significance of this collaboration.
“This agreement with Huvepharma will expand producers’ access to ADM’s science-based feed additives that have demonstrated effects on production efficiencies,” he said.
He added that precise and responsible animal feeding is the core of ADM’s global animal nutrition business and the company is dedicated to optimizing nutrition and supporting animal health while mitigating environmental impacts.
“ADM continually investigates new technologies to serve global nutritional needs, including nutrition solutions to mitigate stressors and improve animal performance.”
ADM’s feed additive solutions are backed by extensive research on their bioactive and physiological effects on animal performance.
The following solutions will now be part of Huvepharma’s ruminant product line:
Garlium
This is a concentrated garlic and allium compound blend formulated to enhance the palatability of animal feed.
Nexulin
Nexulin is a rumen-protected Capsicum oleoresin designed to support dairy cows from the prepartum phase through the first 120 days of lactation. Each batch is encapsulated with patented technology to ensure stable and consistent delivery.
Xtract
This is a standardized combination of molecules inspired by plants and spices. This range of feed additives ensures optimal ingredient stability, supports consistent production, and promotes performance and well-being across various species.

In other news, ADM released its financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2024, revealing impressive performance in its Animal Nutrition subsegment
The segment recorded an operating profit of US$6 million, which was higher year-over-year due to cost optimization efforts and lower input costs.
